Did I miss my chance?

There was a boy that I had a lot of classes with, and he asked me to homecoming. About 20 minutes into the dance, he asked me to be his girlfriend. I was frazzled and confused and I said sure. The next day, with a clear head, I decided I didn't like him like that, so (and I really regret doing it this way, ) I sent him a text saying that I didn't want to be his girlfriend. He was really cool about it in class and stuff and we're still friends now. A year went by and I think I like him now. He is always really into whatever I have to say and he shows me all the new "parkour" moves he has learned. Occasionally, he asks me "How's the love life?" Does he still like me or is he just being a good friend?
