What is the bet hair product I can use to create "beach waves"?

I have kinda wavy hair and want to know which product I should use to enhance and prettify these waves. I have tried a couple of hair products, recently Aussie-"Catch The Wave" and none have created that "beach wave", tousled kinda curly look I want. I don't want it to be crunchy though, I hate that. Any suggestions? What has worked for you?
