Should I cut my hair short and dye it dark brown?

I actually cut my hair short and yeah it's a great hairstyle with some problems though, you tend to get bored with not being able to restyle it and yes it does take a while to grow back and that's another problem, at the moment my hair is in the in-between stage of growing and is resting on my shoulders which is a pain. Another thing is that you can't go back, yeah it may seem obvious but it may take years to grow back to a long length so think it through because if you don't like it you will be stuck with it for a while... As for the dying of the hair I have also done that and it's great because it's alwaays nice to have a change just make sure you go the right colour and keep on top of your roots but try not to get addicted to putting hair dye on because on the long term it can damage your hair but I think you should go for it! :D what's the worse that could happen
